revenge of the sith rants!
i saw it ... and here is what i gotta say!
anikin is so damn stupid and he deserved to be ass-kicked by obi-wan kenobi ..... not to mention losing his 2 legs! and the actor (whoever it is i dont know -__-;;) .... *sigh* still could improve on his acting a bit (i could have said meaner things but since this blog is for public view ... dont wanna insult anyone >_<)
but natalie portman was great ... prettyyyyy ^__^!!!
ewan mc gregor played obi-wan right?? is it just me but he seemed a lot shorter in the movie ....
so here u go peeps ... feel free to give me your thoughts/rants on this movie ^^
ps: think i gotta start rewatching the entire star wars movies again .... heard from a friend of mine that there will be NINE star wars movies altogether ... is that true??

Yes, Star Wars is supposed to be a trilogy of trilogies! :o Si Lucas bikin mulai Ep IV krn secara teknikal ga terlalu sulit (ga terlalu banyak adegan alien masal atau complicated light saber fights kali? ^^; )
Revenge of the Sith benarnya ceritanya bagus, cuma terjemahan ke filmnya saja yg ga bagus... Dialog2nya banyak yg out of place, cut2nya aneh (kadang merusak suasana dramanya)...

I think in the opening scene, Anakin is soooo dominant compared to Obi-Wan. Well, actually I feel that way all the time... Ewan Mc Gregor just could not convey Obi-Wan's charm and charisma, in my opinion. He even made Obi-Wan looks almost comical... ;_;
Still, I think the whole story of Anakin's life is more meaningful than the films make. He was a promising talent, rose up too fast and his wants grew faster than his maturity, and ultimately this was what made him make a wrong decision... (I can think of a lot of people having similar fates, not as dramatic but essentially the same.)
Oh, and when Kenobi said emotionally in frustration, "You're the chosen one! You are supposed to stop the Sith, not to join him!" Well, in a way, he was correct. Anakin DID stop the Sith in Ep VI, right? :p *dodges thrown sharp object*

There is a month long Star Wars Marathon on local TV (forget which channel and what time) starting this Friday with Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. Next week is Episode 2: The Attack of the Clones and the weeks after is the old school Star Wars. Episode 4: A New Hope, Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back, and Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. I'm planning to watch all of them. >_< Hope I won't forget. (like I always do...)

emang tuh revenge of the sith a lot of the conversations (especially anakin's) r odd and unnatural to me. i have never read the star wars books so i wouldnt know how charismatic obiwan is supposed to be compared to anakin. and it has been quite a long time since the last time i saw the old star wars movies.
guess anakin's tragedy can happen to anyone ... and as far kenobi's final quote ... i think it was true. think i gotta rewatch ep VI again, i thought luke killed anakin at the end @_@? or maybe i am just confused @__@???
